This is the first of only 2 remakes that I've ever recorded.
This song was written by Ottmar Liebert. It is called "Reaching Out
2 U". It is one of the first songs I recorded in my apartment in
Carlsbad, California U.S.A. I was just getting the feel of the guitar
again after so many years of not playing. My brother Dave had been playing
lead guitar in a rock band called "Acidnine" in San Diego during
that time. He stopped by to see how my recordings were coming along, then
offered to do the electric lead section of the song. I had planned to
do it myself, but I am so glad that I didn't. It came out so nice, I could
never have done it better. Thanks Dave. We'll have to do another song
soon.
One more thing...Ottmar Liebert is an awesome guitarist

I saw him play at Thornton Winery
in Temecula and it was a fabulous show!!!
